Free for all

I missed the dead line for Off the rails free for all challenge but I will post it here any way.

Kraft it up December challenge

The challenge was to do a different style than you normally would so I went for a more painted background not as layered as I usually do. There was also a colour choice, I went with the Pink/Kraft/White/Gold tones.

I also played with Fantasy film on my chipboard heart...and it was fun.

Scrap the boys christmas challenge

My second layout is for  http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/

My younger Brother loves the colour purple and we always give him heaps about it, a couple of xmas's ago I got dress up stuff for every one. We had to take a purple prince shot of him.

December Challenge White with one

I needed some inspiration to scrap so I visited my favourite challenge sites and came up with these next four layouts.

I often check through my daughters photo file to find the latest selfie's. I really love
the natural unaffected photos she takes of herself.

Scrap Around The World....Mood board Challenge December

This mood board is from http://scraparoundtheworld.blogspot.com.au/ go check it out.

I was inspired by the beautiful soft bluey/teal tones and all the frames. I found a recent favourite photo I hadn't scrapped of my gorgeous sister in law who will not have a photo willingly usually.
One of my favourite products to use at the moment is this Ranger embossing powder called Antiquities Verdigris which I have used on the chipboard frames.

I used some die cuts behind the photo and the chipboard pieces are from Twiddleybitz.

Off The rails Scrapping Challenge

I love acetate and clear accents so I had a lot of fun with this challenge from http://offtherailsscrapbooking.blogspot.com.au/

I came across a packet of Little Yellow Bicycle acetate accents and immediately thought of this recent photo of my Dad with my Niece.

Below is a previous layout, a favourite, using acetate.

This layout I did at a recent weekend away which also had a acetate/overlay challenge. This is me as a baby.

This is the inspiring mood board over at Scrap Around the World for this month.

I was influenced by the colours, the heart and the mosaic feel.

Sentimental embellishments

I bought my Husband a watch for our first wedding anniversary nearly 27 years ago now. I picked it myself went and had the back engraved "All my Love Tracey" 22.3.87.  Well I could tell by the look on his face when he opened it that he didn't like it and of cause I couldn't exchange it as I had it engraved. So that was my lesson to never ever ever buy him a surprise. He nick named the watch BIG BEN and because I had bought a really good one, he couldn't kill it with a stick. It did eventually die about two years ago and my gorgeous friend Jo Kinder suggested I scrap it.  It has taken me a while and I have stepped out of my comfort zone with this layout and tried to channel the very talented artist Finnabair. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/294341.html

Here is my attempt at a mixed media layout.

I have constructed it on a 12 x 12 piece of chipboard so as it could take the colour sprays and the weight of all the metal pieces.

January challenge White with one

My sister got a new under water camera for xmas (2010).
That is how long it has taken me to scrap these photos.
The January Challenge lead me back to them.
The kids had a ball with the camera and I got some great photos to scrap.

January Challenge Kraft it Up

This was the page I needed to complement, not a true double but still look like they go together. The after op photo's had been sitting around for a while (august 2012) waiting for me to come up with something.
The January Kraft it up Challenge suited it to a tee. I am glad I can check off another job done.
