Getting all arty at Twiddleybitz this month

This month at Twiddleybitz the Design team are going all mixed media. This is my first layout.

My first step was to take a 12 x 12 chipboard sheet and cover it with crackle paste.

Let it dry on its own you get deeper crack, especially if you apply it thick.

Then I sprayed the background with complementary green shade of glimmer spray.

Let it dry. Then I added a stencil with gesso across the middle. Again let it dry.

I took some background stamps and black archival ink and dressed up the back ground.

I poured some red acrylic paint across the middle of the gesso and let it drip in both directions.

This is when I decided I liked the background better horizontal not vertical.

I also added some textural pieces to the background and some Twiddleybitz chipboard too.

I also added some dried and coloured wet ones to the background for some texture.
